When you complete this course, you will be ready for a career in Beauty services. You will have the skills and knowledge to start in the beauty industry. The practical experience you gain will provide you with the skills required to work at an entry level in the beauty industry. You will learn a range of beauty services including make-up, waxing, manicure and pedicure, lash and brow treatments and sell retail skin care and cosmetic products. You will gain hands-on experience in a simulated work environment where you will perform simple tasks on real clients.

In this role you will have the skills and knowledge to start in the Beauty industry. You will learn a range of beauty services including make-up, waxing, manicure and pedicure, lash and brow treatments and sell skin care and cosmetic products. You will gain hands-on experience in a simulated work environment where you will perform simple tasks on real clients.

Time Commitment  You will need to allocate appropriate time to complete this course. This includes attending classes on-site and/or online as outlined in the study mode; undertake independent study outside of class hours, including private study, assessment preparation, research and complete assessment requirements.

  • Technology - Adapt to new tools, access digital resources, and integrate technology into your learning. Some key skills for this course include ability to use email, navigate the internet using a web browser and search engines and ability to learn new programs (e.g., Blackboard).
