Study Mode Apprenticeship

When you complete this course you will be ready for a career in agricultural machinery distribution, agricultural field work and agricultural farm work.

You will have the skills and knowledge to work on agricultural machinery and equipment. It covers mechanical, electrical, hydraulic operations and braking systems.

The units in Apprenticeship are customised according to the individual Training Agreement that is negotiated with the employer and may vary (within the Qualification rules) in each case.

  • You are seeking hands-on trade career selling, servicing and/or fixing agricultural machinery.
  • You love living in rural areas and want to work in Agricultural Machinery Distribution, Agricultural Field Work and/or Agricultural Farm Work.

When you complete this course, you will have the skills and knowledge to service, diagnose and repair agricultural machinery and equipment including mechanical, electrical, hydraulic operations and braking systems.

Time Commitment  You will need to allocate appropriate time to complete this course. This includes attending classes on campus as outlined in your training plan; and undertake independent study outside of class hours, including private study, assessment preparation, research, and complete assessment requirements.

    • Use and maintain tools and equipment in an automotive workplace
    • Carry out welding including oxyacetylene, manual and gas metal arc
