This course addresses the education and training needs of adults who want to improve their literacy, basic maths and general education skills to access further study, employment or to participate in the community.
- You would like to take your first step in education and training for a future career.
- You would like to build you confidence to undertake further study or enter the workforce.
- You would like to improve your reading, writing, maths and computer skills.
Then this is the course for you.
To make an informed choice about the suitability of this course, please consider the essential skills and knowledge below. You must:
- Have a desire to build confidence and re-engage with learning.
- Show your ability to communicate with others.
- Have a willingness to listen to and apply learnings.
- Have basic digital literacy.
This course aims to support your education, and training needs to improve your literacy, basic maths and general education skills to access further study, employment and/or to participate in the community.
Time Commitment – You will need to allocate appropriate time to complete this course. This includes attending classes on-site and/or online as outlined in the study mode; and undertake independent study outside of class hours, including private study, assessment preparation, research and complete assessment requirements.
