Study Mode Full-Time | Part-Time | Traineeship

When you complete this course, you will be ready for a career in individual support. You will have the skills and knowledge to follow an individualised plan to provide person-centred support to people who may require support due to disability or some other reason, in the community and/or residential setting. Work involves using discretion and judgement in relation to individual support as well as taking responsibility for own outputs. Workers have a range of factual, technical and procedural knowledge, as well as some theoretical knowledge of the concepts and practices required to provide person-centred support.

South Regional TAFE is transitioning this qualification to the new training package in 2024. Students will be enrolled into the new units developed to meet current and future industry needs. Fees may vary for courses transitioning to the new training package.
