This course aims to provide you with the skills and knowledge required to be a qualified group exercise instructor or gym instructor.
Build your practical technique in our onsite gym while you learn about the function of exercise instruction, assessing fitness levels and how to deliver fun, high-energy, group exercise sessions and design effective training programs for different client groups.
By completing this course, you will be prepared to explore a range of career opportunities in the fitness industry. Should you prefer further study, you will also gain a solid pathway to continue your study into the Certificate IV in Fitness.

In this role you will welcome new members to the gym or group exercise classes. Develop tailored programs to help others achieve their fitness goals. Lead classes through specialised exercise routines or bootcamps. You will learn about the function of exercise instruction, assess fitness levels, learn how to deliver fun, high-energy, group exercise sessions and design effective training programs for a range of age groups.
The length of this course provides you the time to develop strong skills. Face-to-face training means when you complete this course would, will be highly regarded in the fitness industry for your depth of knowledge and well-practiced skills.
Time Commitment: You will need to allocate appropriate time to complete this course. This includes attending classes on-site and/or online as outlined in the study mode; undertake independent study outside of class hours, including private study, assessment preparation, research and complete assessment requirements.
