On completion of this course, you will have the skills and knowledge to select, install, set up, test, fault find, repair and maintain electrical systems and equipment in building and premises.

This course is part of the Lower fees, local skills initiative. From 1 January 2020 through to 31 December 2025 you'll only pay half the course fees, capped at $1,200; or $400 if you're aged 15—24 or eligible for a concession, plus resource fees and other fees that may apply to your course.

Study Mode Apprenticeship
When you complete this course, you will be ready for a career in electrotechnology. You will have the skills and knowledge to select, install, set up, test, fault find, repair and maintain electrical systems and equipment in building and premises.
It includes ERAC requirements for an A Grade Electrical License and experience in telecommunications service cabling. This course may also be available through Recognition of Prior Learning to eligible applicants.

Time Commitment – You will need to allocate appropriate time to complete this course. This includes attending classes on-site and/or online as outlined in the study mode; and undertake independent study outside of class hours, including private study, assessment preparation, research and complete assessment requirements.
