• This course is perfect if you need to be certified to operate telehandlers with a lifting capacity of 3 tonnes or less.

• Have an interest in operating machinery.
• Display ability to write documents legibly.
• Demonstrate well-developed communication.
• Demonstrate well spoken English.
• Have a sound level of fitness to manage physical demands in the workplace, such as safely climbing ladders, handle tools, perform manual handling and move within confined, elevated or awkward spaces.
• Show ability to follow instructions and follow Work Health and Safety procedures.

Telescopic material handler operations are fast becoming a sought-after skill in the mining and construction sector. Whether it's lifting with forks, digging with a bucket or using any number of attachments available on these machines.

Time Commitment – You will need to allocate appropriate time to complete this course. This includes attending classes on-site and/or online as outlined in the study mode; and undertake independent study outside of class hours, including private study, assessment preparation, research and complete assessment requirements.
