Operate Tractors Skill Set
This two-day short course provides practical skills and knowledge to operate tractors safely in Agricultural and Horticultural settings. You will learn how to conduct pre-start and pre-operational checks, operate tractors under varying conditions, and follow Workplace Health and Safety procedures. Ideal for beginners or those seeking to refresh their skills for employment in Farming or Land Management.
This course remains FEE FREE in 2025! The course fees are 100 per cent subsidised by the WA State Government for WA residents.

In this course you will learn the knowledge and skills to:
- Perform pre-start and pre operational checks and routine maintenance
- Operate tractors safely in different environments
- Attach and use implements
- Apply workplace health and safety procedures
- Shut down/post checks and store equipment correctly

- Be able to follow instructions and follow Work Health and Safety procedures.
Time Commitment
You will need to allocate appropriate time to complete this course. This includes attending all face-to-face classes on-site.
