The Introductory GATE Program is designed for young individuals who have faced challenges in traditional education settings. This course focuses on re-engaging students by building foundational literacy and numeracy skills, alongside essential personal and social competencies. It helps learners develop a positive attitude toward learning, discover their unique strengths, and overcome barriers that have hindered their academic progress.

 

The program emphasizes real-life skills, covering areas such as communication, self-regulation, independent living, and technology. Through a hands-on and supportive learning environment, students are encouraged to explore their potential and build the confidence needed to succeed in more advanced training, such as the Certificate I in General Education for Adults (CGEA) or the Certificate I in Gaining Access to Training and Employment (GATE).
