The Certificate IV in Information Technology is a qualification that provides the skills and knowledge to be job ready and competent in a wide range of information and communications technology (ICT) roles and apply a broad range of skills in varied work contexts, using problem solving skills and effective communication with others.

This pathway provides the skills and knowledge for an individual to develop basic programming skills in contemporary programming languages.



Our classes are held in computer labs where students have access to a range of Industry Standard Integrated development environments (IDE’s). Every effort is made to utilise

freeware and open-source applications where possible. Current industry standard applications, such as Microsoft Office, Visual Studio, SQL Server are also available in the

classrooms to ensure that students attain knowledge and skills with the same tools that are utilised by current industry.



As part of the learning program, students also can partake in realistic IT industry tasks in the computer lab which contains up-to-date PCs, Hardware, Networking and

Virtualisation Equipment. Learners can be expected to actively work and maintain the Production environment that other IT students and Lectures rely on.
