When you complete this course course, you will be ready for a career in business. This qualification reflects the role of individuals in a variety of Business Services job roles. These individuals may have supervisory performance accountabilities.

Individuals in these roles carry out a mix of specialist and moderately complex administrative or operational tasks that require self-development skills. They may provide leadership and guidance to others with limited responsibility for the output of others. You will have the skills and knowledge to use well-developed skills and a broad knowledge base to apply solutions to a defined range of unpredictable problems and analyse information from a variety of sources. 

  • You are wanting a job in a business management / leadership role – working in Office Management, Business Planning, Marketing, leading others, customer service or any of the various job roles in Business Services.

  • Demonstrate sound teamwork skills and the ability to work independently.

  • Show the ability to communicate clearly, respectfully, and with confidence across written and verbal formats.

  • Demonstrate the ability to analyse information and solve problems in unfamiliar situations.
  • Have good digital literacy - Working knowledge and skills in the use of software applications such as Word and Excel.
  • Demonstrate the ability to navigate online tools and platforms relevant to the workplace.

This course will give you the skills and knowledge to carry out a range tasks in the corporate world that require technology and business skills. You will have capacity to undertake some supervisory responsibilities in the workplace.

Time Commitment â€“ You will need to allocate appropriate time to complete this course. This includes attending classes on-site and/or online as outlined in the study mode; and undertake independent study outside of class hours, including private study, assessment preparation, research and complete assessment requirements.
