This course focuses on basic drawing skills, surface pattern designs and a range of printmaking techniques. You will learn how to turn your prints into a commercial enterprise, and what is involved in setting this up.

Time Commitment – You will need to allocate appropriate time to complete this course. This includes attending classes on campus and/or online as outlined in your training plan; and undertake independent study outside of class hours, including private study, assessment preparation, research, and complete assessment requirements.

  • Relief printing on lino blocks.
  • Practice etching on acetate.
  • Use collagraph on strawboard.
  • Explore multi layered printing.
