• Have good manual dexterity. Good hand–eye coordination and fine motor skills are essential for precision work.
• Have ability to follow instructions, Work Health and Safety procedures and the ability to respond to immediate safety risks.
• Show tolerance, patience and the willingness to work with people from diverse backgrounds and cultures.

This course will give you the skills and knowledge to undertake client consultation on nail care products and services. You will be able to offer manicure and pedicure services as well as acrylic, gel and dip nail enhancements. You will explore your creativity and skill in nail art and learn to use all the equipment, product and tools of the trade. You will develop Customer Service skills, where discretion and judgement are required. You may work in a salon or be self-employed.

Time Commitment – You will need to allocate appropriate time to complete this course. This includes attending classes on-site as outlined in the study mode; and undertake independent study outside of class hours, including private study, assessment preparation, research and complete assessment requirements.
