Study Mode Apprenticeship

When you complete this course you will be ready for a career in the automotive industry. You will have the skills and knowledge to service, diagnose and repair electrical systems and components in vehicles in the automotive electrical service and repair industry.  You will need to be employed and registered as an apprentice/trainee before you can undertake this course. This course may also be available through Recognition of Prior Learning to eligible applicants.

Successful completion of the qualification can be used for formal trade recognition in the automotive industry.  This qualification includes automotive air conditioning and refrigeration units, sufficient to cover all of the requirements of Certificate II in Automotive Air Conditioning Technology and will enable the holder to apply for an unrestricted automotive air conditioning licence from ARC.

  • You want to gain qualifications as an Automotive Electrician, Automotive Electrical Technician or Hybrid and EV Technician.

When you complete this course, you will be ready for a career in the Automotive Industry. You will have the skills and knowledge to service, diagnose and repair electrical systems and components in vehicles in the Automotive Electrical Service and Repair Industry. 

Time Commitment  You will need to allocate appropriate time to complete this course. This includes attending classes on campus as outlined in your training plan; and undertake independent study outside of class hours, including private study, assessment preparation, research, and complete assessment requirements.
