The Business Ready skill set will give you the skills and knowledge required to deliver all aspects of customer service including how to create a relationship with customers, identify their needs, deliver services or products and process customer feedback. You’ll also learn how to use business technology and produce business documents, follow work health and safety (WHS) and emergency procedures and instructions, and use computer software and organise electronic information and data.

To make an informed choice about the suitability of this course, please consider the essential skills and knowledge below. You must: 

  • Show your ability to communicate with others.
  • Demonstrate your ability to work independently and in a team.
  • Like to work indoors in front of screens and digital devices.
  • Respect for others and their role within the team.
  • Show your ability to follow instructions and Work Health and Safety procedures.
  • Have basic digital literacy.

This course will provide the skills and knowledge required to deliver all aspects of customer service including how to create a relationship with customers, identify their needs, deliver services or products and process customer feedback. You’ll also learn how to use business technology and produce business documents, follow Work Health and Safety (WHS) and emergency procedures and instructions, and use computer software and organise electronic information and data.

This skill set is the perfect introduction to office administration, clerical work and reception work.

Time Commitment  You will need to allocate appropriate time to complete this course. This includes attending classes on-site and/or online as outlined in the study mode; and undertake independent study outside of class hours, including private study, assessment preparation, research and complete assessment requirements.
