Estimated reading time: 1 minute

More regional students can now develop the skills they need for the jobs of the future with $1.15 million infrastructure upgrades at three South Regional TAFE campuses.

A Certificate II in Electrotechnology is now available at South Regional TAFE's Katanning and Esperance campuses as part of the VET Delivered to Secondary Students (VETDSS).

Mainstream pre‑apprenticeship course delivery commenced at the Margaret River campus at the start of Semester 2, 2026. VETDSS pre‑apprenticeships will be delivered at the campus from 2027.

The new and upgraded facilities will provide more regional students to gain hand-on experience and build successful careers in the electrical industry.
