This course will provide you with the knowledge and skills required to perform slinging techniques, including the selection and inspection of lifting gear and directing the crane operator in the movement of a load when the load is out of view of the operator.
The work described in this course relates to the National Standards for licensing persons performing high risk work. On successful completion of this course you will be able to apply for a high-risk licence through Worksafe.
On successful completion of this course, students will receive a statement of attainment for the following nationally accredited unit:

This course will provide you with the knowledge and skills required to perform slinging techniques, including the selection and inspection of lifting gear and directing the crane operator in the movement of a load when the load is out of view of the operator.
The work described in this course relates to the National Standards for licensing persons performing high risk work. On successful completion of this course, you will be able to apply for a high-risk licence through WorkSafe. You must apply and pay for this licence separately.
Time Commitment – You will need to allocate appropriate time to complete this course. This includes attending classes on-site and/or online as outlined in the study mode; and undertake independent study outside of class hours, including private study, assessment preparation, research and complete assessment requirements.
